TRIPLE WHALE VS WEPROFIT

A Triple Whale alternative built around conversion tracking

Triple Whale’s Shopify App Store listing describes it as an AI operating system for ecommerce and shows a Free plan, Foundation at $219 a month and Automate at $749 a month, in US dollars; its pricing page says prices are based on the brand’s annual gross merchandise value (GMV) and the package. WeProfit is conversion tracking software: it sends Shopify purchases from its own server to the ad networks you connect and adds attribution and profit reports, from $19 a month per store, in US dollars before applicable taxes. If you are weighing WeProfit as a Triple Whale alternative, this page sets out what each company publishes, as checked on October 28, 2026.

Triple Whale and WeProfit at a glance

Both tools work with Shopify stores, and they describe their jobs differently. Triple Whale’s listing describes an AI operating system built for modern ecommerce that pulls the signals of a business into one place, and its plans list attribution, analytics, data enrichment for ad and retention tools, and AI features under the name Moby.

WeProfit is conversion tracking software for ecommerce stores. It builds each Shopify purchase from Shopify’s order webhook, sends it from its own server to the ad networks you connect, and adds attribution and profit reports. Every plan includes every feature and all 10 ad networks; plans differ only by monthly orders per store.

Triple Whale is a trademark of its owner. WeProfit is not affiliated with Triple Whale. Prices and features are as published by Triple Whale on October 28, 2026. Check Triple Whale’s site for current details.

When Triple Whale may suit you better

Triple Whale’s own listing, pricing page and docs show where it may fit your store better than WeProfit. If one of these is what you need, start there:

  • A free plan. Triple Whale’s listing shows a Free plan with 10 users, a 12-month lookback, first- and last-click attribution models, a standard post-purchase survey and Triple Pixel tracking. WeProfit has no free plan: its four plans start at $19 a month per store, and each shop gets one 14-day free trial.
  • Several stores on one plan. Triple Whale’s pricing page says every paid plan integrates with as many stores as needed. WeProfit prices each store separately.
  • Multi-touch attribution. The listing puts multi-touch attribution on the Foundation plan, and the developer docs list models such as Linear All, Linear Paid, Triple Attribution and Total Impact next to First Click and Last Click. WeProfit has no selectable multi-touch models.
  • Wider analytics. Foundation lists creative and product analytics, cohort analysis with a segmentation builder, and custom dashboards with an SQL editor; Automate lists contextual benchmarks; and the listing describes Compass as MMM, multi-touch attribution and incrementality testing. WeProfit does not include cohort reports, post-purchase surveys, creative analytics, benchmarks, or media mix and incrementality modelling.
  • Amazon and marketplace data. The Free plan lists integrations with ads, Amazon, email, SMS and more, and the developer docs let a shop add marketplaces such as Amazon Sales, TikTok Shop and Walmart Marketplace. WeProfit has no Amazon ads connection.
  • Retention tools. The developer docs say Pixel data powers Sonar, which enriches platforms like Klaviyo. WeProfit sends conversions to ad networks; it lists no email or SMS destinations.
  • Other store platforms. The developer docs name WooCommerce and BigCommerce as natively supported next to Shopify, and other platforms connect through the Triple Whale API. WeProfit is publicly available for Shopify, and its WooCommerce plugin is in beta.
  • Data warehouse exports. The developer docs describe exports to BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS S3 or Google Cloud Storage, one-time or on a schedule; its pricing page lists data warehouse export as an add-on on Foundation, Automate and Enterprise.

When WeProfit may suit you better as a Triple Whale alternative

WeProfit is narrower in scope. It may suit you better if:

  • You want conversions sent to your ad networks from the entry plan up. WeProfit sends each order’s purchase from its server to the ad networks you connect, among 10 included in every plan, from Starter at $19 a month: Meta, Google (Google Ads and Google Analytics 4), TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, X Ads, Microsoft (pilot), Reddit, LinkedIn and Taboola. On Triple Whale’s listing, Sonar Optimize and Sonar Send, which it describes as data enrichment for ad and retention tools, are listed on the Foundation plan card; for the ad platforms Sonar works with, see Triple Whale’s help center.
  • You want every feature in every plan, priced only by your order volume. WeProfit’s plans differ only by monthly orders per store, from Starter at $19 a month for up to 300 orders, in US dollars before applicable taxes, and each one includes attribution, profit tracking, the developer API and the AI assistant connection. Triple Whale’s listing shows three plans that differ by features, and its pricing page says their prices are based on the brand’s annual GMV and the package chosen.

What WeProfit does and does not do

WeProfit receives each order through Shopify order webhooks, or the WooCommerce plugin (beta), and sends supported conversion events to each connected destination from its own servers. You can inspect events and orders as they arrive, and each network’s delivery log shows the status of each event sent.

WeProfit calculates net profit as revenue minus refunds, taxes, product costs, payment fees, shipping, and ad spend. Taxes are the sales tax or VAT your customers paid, minus any refunded part. Spend from connected Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and Pinterest ad accounts syncs every hour.

What WeProfit does not do:

  • No free plan and no annual plan, and no published price above 7,500 orders a month: for more, contact support@weprofit.com for a custom plan.
  • No selectable multi-touch models, no split credit and no view-through credit: each order counts once, in one channel and at most one campaign.
  • No cohort reports, post-purchase surveys, creative analytics, benchmarks, or media mix and incrementality modelling, and no Amazon ads connection.
  • No email or SMS destinations: WeProfit sends conversions to ad networks.
  • Not a full accounting system: profit covers order costs and ad spend, not rent, salaries, software subscriptions, income taxes or other overhead.
  • No spend at ad set or ad level: spend and profit after ads stop at campaign level.
  • No automated spend sync for Snapchat, X Ads, Microsoft (pilot), Reddit, LinkedIn or Taboola: add that spend by hand, as a daily schedule or through the developer API.
  • No changes to your campaigns: WeProfit does not pause, scale or edit them.
  • Orders placed before you installed WeProfit are never sent to ad networks, and Microsoft delivery is a pilot that requires enablement.
  • No guarantee of complete attribution, a particular advertising return or matching totals across ad platforms.

Triple Whale pricing next to WeProfit pricing

Triple Whale’s Shopify App Store listing shows three plans in US dollars: Free, Foundation at $219 a month or $2,190 a year, and Automate at $749 a month or $7,490 a year. The listing says all charges are billed in USD, that recurring and usage-based charges are billed every 30 days, and that external charges may be billed by Triple Whale separately from your Shopify invoice. It links to Triple Whale’s website for all pricing options.

Triple Whale’s pricing page says prices are based on the brand’s annual GMV and the package chosen: Foundation, Automate or Enterprise. Its plan cards showed no prices when we checked on October 28, 2026. It calls these packages 12-month subscriptions, billed monthly or annually with two months free, and says a brand whose revenue grows moves automatically to the plan for its revenue tier, with notice well in advance, while an annual prepaid plan locks in its tier for the year. Its help center adds that the plans, add-ons and pricing available to a business may vary with its annual GMV, contract and account configuration. Triple Whale’s tax basis is not covered on the pages we checked, so see Triple Whale’s site.

Paying yearly, as the listing shows it: Foundation is $2,190 a year against 12 × $219 = $2,628 paid monthly, $438 less. Automate is $7,490 a year against 12 × $749 = $8,988, $1,498 less. The listing calls both a 17% saving.

WeProfit lists four plans in US dollars, per store and per month: Starter $19 for up to 300 orders, Growth $39 for up to 1,000, Scale $79 for up to 3,000 and Pro $149 for up to 7,500. Prices exclude applicable taxes and are billed through Shopify every 30 days. WeProfit lists monthly prices only, with no annual plan.

WeProfit’s usage counts stored orders in the cycle, not only ad-attributed purchases; refunded orders count toward the allowance, cancelled orders do not. There is no automatic per-order overage fee: a paying subscription keeps collecting data and forwarding eligible events above the allowance, and reports stay available during that cycle. If a complete cycle covered by the subscription ends over the allowance, dashboard reports, exports and developer API reads can be restricted in the next cycle, until you choose a plan that covers your order volume.

WeProfit prices apply per store: three stores of up to 300 orders each are 3 × $19 = $57 per 30-day cycle, in US dollars before applicable taxes.

Triple Whale’s pricing page bases its prices on annual GMV and the package, and order or event limits are not covered on the pages we checked, so the two price lists cannot be lined up by order count. Ask Triple Whale for its price at your annual GMV and the package you need, and compare it with the WeProfit plan for your monthly orders. In the table, “not covered on the pages we checked” means the Triple Whale pages we read on October 28, 2026, did not state it, not that Triple Whale lacks it.

You approve a Shopify subscription to start WeProfit’s 14-day free trial; after the trial, Shopify bills the plan every 30 days until you uninstall WeProfit. Each shop gets one trial.

Store platforms and ad networks, as each lists them

Triple Whale’s developer docs name Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce as natively supported sales platforms, which come with a backend connection and Pixel installation; other platforms connect through the Triple Whale API. Each shop has one main sales platform and can add marketplaces such as Amazon Sales, TikTok Shop and Walmart Marketplace. The listing’s “Works with” row names Checkout, Customer accounts, Facebook, Google Ads, Gorgias, Klaviyo, Recharge and TikTok.

WeProfit is publicly available for Shopify, and its WooCommerce plugin is in beta. On Shopify it uses a Web Pixel extension, a theme app embed that you switch on in the theme editor, and Shopify’s order webhooks.

On where data goes, Triple Whale’s listing puts Sonar Optimize and Sonar Send on the Foundation plan and describes Sonar as data enrichment for ad and retention tools, and its pricing page says both come standard with Foundation, Automate and Enterprise. Its developer docs say Pixel data powers Sonar, which enriches platforms like Klaviyo, and describe data warehouse exports, which its pricing page lists as an add-on. For the ad platforms Sonar works with, see Triple Whale’s help center.

WeProfit sends conversions from its own servers to 10 ad networks: Meta, Google (Google Ads and Google Analytics 4), TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, X Ads, Microsoft (pilot), Reddit, LinkedIn and Taboola. Microsoft conversion delivery requires pilot enablement, and Taboola forwarding depends on a captured Taboola click ID. Having ten connections does not mean every event or identifier is sent to all ten networks: on Shopify, for example, Pinterest and Snapchat receive purchases and checkout events.

Attribution and profit, as each describes them

Triple Whale’s listing puts first- and last-click attribution models on the Free plan and multi-touch attribution on Foundation. Its developer docs list the attribution model values Total Impact, Triple Attribution, Triple Attribution + Views, Clicks & Views, Linear All, Linear Paid, First Click and Last Click, and give 1, 7, 14 and 28 days and lifetime as example attribution windows. The listing also describes Compass as MMM, multi-touch attribution and incrementality testing.

WeProfit attribution works like last click with a 30-day ad-click lookback. An ad click counts for 30 days, the same window for every network, and the most recent ad click wins. Each order counts once, in one channel and at most one campaign; there is no selectable model, no split credit and no view-through credit.

Each WeProfit order also shows how it was linked to a visit, labelled exact, strong, inferred or none. The labels describe matching evidence: stronger source evidence is different from a promise that an ad caused a sale.

On profit, Triple Whale’s developer docs define net profit as order revenue from the main sales platform, plus Amazon product sales where included, minus refunds, ad spend and total costs. Total costs cover cost of goods, payment gateway costs, shipping, handling fees, taxes and custom expenses, and cost of goods is imported from the sales platform or edited in its cost settings.

WeProfit calculates net profit as revenue minus refunds, taxes, product costs, payment fees, shipping, and ad spend. Product costs are imported from Shopify’s cost per item or entered per product, per variant or by CSV, with a default percentage for products without a cost; payment fees and shipping are each set as one rule. Profit covers configured costs; it is not a full accounting system.

On ad spend, Triple Whale’s developer docs define ad spend metrics for 14 ad platforms, among them Facebook, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Taboola and Amazon. WeProfit syncs spend from connected Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and Pinterest ad accounts every hour and re-reads the last 3 days; spend for any network can also be added by hand, as a daily schedule, or through the developer API.

Test a switch with one known order during the 14-day trial

You approve a Shopify subscription to start WeProfit’s 14-day free trial; after the trial, Shopify bills the plan every 30 days until you uninstall WeProfit, and each shop gets one trial. Use those 14 days to follow one order from your store to each ad network before you move your sending. WeProfit sends to a network only after you connect that destination, so you can check orders, attribution and profit first and move one network at a time.

  1. Create your WeProfit account, enter your store address and select Connect Shopify. Approve the authorization, then approve the subscription to activate the trial.
  2. Select Open theme editor, enable the WeProfit app embed and select Save.
  3. Visit your storefront and add an item to the cart. On the Installation page, select Refresh and check for Connected, Web pixel installed: Yes and App embed: Active, then run Verify your installation.
  4. Review your orders, attribution and profit in WeProfit before you connect any ad network.
  5. Pick the first network to move and decide which tool sends its purchases, as described in the next section. Then connect and enable that destination in WeProfit.
  6. Place a permitted test purchase or wait for a real order you can identify. Record its order ID, paid status, time, currency and total in Shopify.
  7. Find the order in WeProfit and inspect its linked session and confidence label. In that network’s delivery log, check the intended pixel or destination, the event ID, the delivery status and any error.
  8. In the ad network, check the conversion action, reporting date and attribution settings. A successful send does not mean the network will credit the order to an ad.
  9. Repeat for the next network, and keep the results with the setup date so you can repeat the checks after theme, checkout or pixel changes.
  • Orders placed before you installed WeProfit are imported once your plan is active: the whole history when Shopify grants WeProfit access to all orders, otherwise Shopify’s last 60 days. They count in revenue and profit and are never sent to ad networks.
  • Google Ads receives purchases from orders placed after the connection, uploaded about 6 hours after the ad click at the earliest, and usually shows the first purchases 24 to 48 hours after the first upload.
  • A Shopify test order counts like a real order: it is sent to every connected ad network and counts in reports and toward the order allowance.

Avoid double purchase events while both tools run

Adding WeProfit adds a purchase sender for each network you connect. If your store already sends purchases to that network, through another app, the Facebook & Instagram channel or theme code, the network can count a sale twice, because each sender uses its own event IDs. Before you connect a destination in WeProfit, list every tool that sends purchases to it and keep one purchase sender per destination.

WeProfit sends each order’s purchase once to each destination, from its server, with an ID built from the order. On Shopify its app embed loads only the Meta pixels you connect in WeProfit, and Google’s tag only for the Google accounts you connect, so you can move one network at a time.

A Shopify test order is sent like a real order, so while two tools send to the same network, a test purchase reaches both tools’ destinations.
