SHOPIFY APPS COMPARED

Shopify tracking apps compared: conversions, attribution and profit

Seven Shopify tracking apps that cover conversion tracking, attribution or profit reporting, side by side with WeProfit. Every fact comes from the vendor’s own website, docs, help center, terms or Shopify App Store listing, as published on October 28, 2026. The tables show facts, not a ranking.

What this page compares

The tools here cover overlapping jobs: sending store conversions to ad networks, attributing orders to ads, and reporting profit. Their scopes differ, so the first table gives each vendor’s own description before any price.

Tools are listed in alphabetical order. There are no scores, ratings or winners, and reviews and customer counts are left out on purpose. Each cell names the vendor page it comes from; the links are in the source list at the end of this page.

Elevar, Audiense, Hyros, Littledata, TrackBee, Triple Whale, TrueProfit and wetracked.io are trademarks of their owners. WeProfit is not affiliated with any of them. Prices and features are as published by each vendor on October 28, 2026. Check each vendor’s site for current details.

Pricing model, entry price, free plan and trial

Prices are shown as each vendor publishes them, in the vendor’s currency, with no conversion. Monthly prices are per month, and annual prices are labelled as annual. TrackBee shows euros, excluding VAT, to visitors in Europe and the same numbers in US dollars to everyone else and on its Shopify App Store listing; the other published prices are in US dollars, and Hyros shows no price.

Tax notes differ too. WeProfit’s prices exclude applicable taxes. Elevar’s terms say its fees exclude taxes, and wetracked.io’s terms say it charges VAT on top of its prices where VAT applies. Check each vendor’s terms for its own rules.

Store platforms and where each sends data

Names are as each vendor lists them. An integration list is not always a list of places a tool sends conversions, so each cell says what the vendor’s page describes. WeProfit’s WooCommerce plugin is in beta; other vendors’ platform lists are shown as they publish them.

Attribution and profit, as each states them

Each cell describes what the vendor’s pages state. Some tools report attribution and profit in their own dashboards; others send click IDs to ad platforms and Google Analytics 4, which apply their own attribution, or send a profit value to ad platforms as the conversion value. Where a page does not mention something, this table does not treat it as missing.

Attribution and profit, as published on October 28, 2026 (alphabetical)
ToolAttribution, as statedProfit, as stated
ElevarAttribution Feed (beta): first-touch and last-touch data for recent Shopify orders; its docs say other models such as data-driven are not included in it (docs)Profit optimization on Advanced and up: profit values sent to destinations such as Meta, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and TikTok, from product costs, discounts and a margin fallback (docs)
HyrosSix report models: First Click, Last Click, Scientific, Depreciation, Linear and U-Shaped, with an attribution window setting (docs)Profit and Net Profit metrics; the Shopify integration sends shipping, taxes and cost of goods as costs; custom costs per product or per source (docs)
LittledataClick IDs joined to each purchase so each ad platform can attribute the sale to its own ad; Session Enrichment settings for Google Analytics 4 (paid media page, help center)Profit Signal (beta): margin values sent to Google Ads, Meta, Google Analytics 4, Segment and Klaviyo, from margins you set as percentages (Profit Signal page, help center)
TrackBeeA last-touch source per order in its plans; it says it is not a multi-touch attribution suite; cross-platform answers in its paid Insights add-on (help center, attribution guide)For every order, Shopify product costs are subtracted and the result is sent to Meta, Google Ads and Snapchat as the conversion value; a Products dashboard with shipping and payment fees is in beta for a limited number of stores (profit page)
Triple WhaleFirst- and last-click attribution models on Free; multi-touch attribution on Foundation (Shopify listing)Net profit: order revenue minus refunds, ad spend and total costs, which include cost of goods, payment gateway costs, shipping, handling fees and taxes (developer docs)
TrueProfitAssisted and last-clicked purchases with a 30-day default window (beta), on the Enterprise plan at $200 a month (help center, pricing page)Net profit: revenue plus tips and gift card sales minus total costs, which include cost of goods, shipping, handling, transaction fees, ad spend and custom costs such as software, rent and salaries; P&L report from the Advanced plan (help center, pricing page)
WeProfitWorks like last click with a 30-day ad-click lookback, with a confidence label on each order; no selectable multi-touch models (weprofit.com)Net profit: revenue minus refunds, taxes, product costs, payment fees, shipping, and ad spend; it covers configured costs and is not a full accounting system (weprofit.com)
wetracked.ioIts help center, updated March 11, 2026, says its reporting uses a last-click attribution model and relies on UTM parameters (help center)Pulse Dashboard on every plan, connected to a Meta ad account; product cost and expense inputs are not covered on the pages we checked (pricing page, help center)

Which pricing model may suit your store

Per-order pricing, like Littledata’s Flex plan from $0.35 an order with no monthly minimum, follows each order, so it can suit a store with few orders. Plans with an order allowance, like Elevar’s, Littledata’s Scale and Plus, TrueProfit’s, wetracked.io’s and WeProfit’s, set a monthly price for a band of orders, which can suit a store that wants a known monthly price. The rules above the band differ: a fee per extra order at Elevar, Littledata and TrueProfit, extra charges under wetracked.io’s terms, and no per-order fee at WeProfit, where reads can be restricted after a complete cycle over the allowance.

Pricing by tracked revenue, like TrackBee’s and Hyros’s, follows the value of the orders rather than their count, so a store with many low-value orders and a store with a few high-value orders can pay differently. Hyros’s price is quoted on a set-up call. Triple Whale’s pricing page says its prices are based on the brand’s annual GMV and the package chosen, and its Shopify listing shows Foundation at $219 a month.

Check what counts toward each allowance. WeProfit counts stored orders, with refunded orders included and cancelled orders not. Littledata’s terms count completed, paid, partially paid, cancelled, draft and refunded orders. Elevar counts the orders its servers process and send to your destinations, TrueProfit the orders it tracks for your store in each billing cycle, TrackBee the revenue of the orders it processes, and Hyros the revenue from sales attributed to any source, refunded and deleted sales included.

Check how stores are counted too. WeProfit and TrueProfit price each store separately, and Littledata says it charges per brand, based on monthly order volume, with several country stores on one invoice on its Plus plan. wetracked.io’s Starter, Business and Scale-up plans cover up to 3, 5 or 10 stores and its custom-priced Enterprise plan lists unlimited stores; TrackBee’s plans cover up to 2, 4 or 6, with extra stores at €49 or $49 a month on Pro and Scale, and Elevar lists multi-storefront tracking on Premium and Elite. Triple Whale’s pricing page says every paid plan integrates with as many stores as needed.

How to choose ad tracking software: questions to ask every tool

Start with the ad networks you pay for and the store platform you run, then ask every tool the same questions:

  • Which ad networks receive your conversions, and which events reach each one?
  • Can you see what was captured and what was sent, event by event?
  • How is the price set: per order, by order bands, by tracked revenue, by features or by quote? Which orders or revenue count, and what happens above the allowance?
  • Do you need attribution models to switch between, or is one channel per order enough?
  • Do you need profit reports in the tool, or a profit value sent to ad platforms for bidding, or both?
  • How long is the trial, and what does it commit you to when it ends?
  • How will you avoid sending the same purchase twice while you test a second tool?

Who each Shopify tracking app may suit, based on what it publishes

These lines describe fit from each vendor’s own pages. They are not a ranking, and the same store can fit more than one tool.

  • Elevar: stores that want a free plan for up to 100 orders a month, a 15-day trial on Core, Advanced and Premium, or destinations beyond ad networks, such as email, SMS, affiliate and BI tools on Advanced and up (pricing page).
  • Hyros: businesses that want attribution models to switch between, such as Linear, U-Shaped and Depreciation, call and lead funnels, or a set-up team included in a custom-priced plan (home page, pricing page, docs).
  • Littledata: stores that want to pay per order with no monthly minimum, a 30-day trial, or destinations such as Google Analytics 4, Klaviyo, Attentive and Segment (plans page).
  • TrackBee: Shopify stores that prefer pricing by tracked revenue, in euros or US dollars, a 30-day trial, or one plan for up to 2, 4 or 6 stores (pricing page).
  • Triple Whale: stores that want a free plan, multi-touch attribution, cohort analysis, custom dashboards with an SQL editor, or several stores on one paid plan (Shopify listing, pricing page).
  • TrueProfit: Shopify and TikTok Shop sellers who want profit reporting with cost settings such as COGS by zone, weight-based shipping costs and fees synced from Shopify Payments, PayPal and Stripe, a P&L report from the Advanced plan, custom costs such as software, rent and salaries in net profit, or ad spend synced from 11 ad platforms, among them Microsoft Ads, Snapchat, X, Taboola and Amazon (pricing page, home page, help center).
  • WeProfit: Shopify stores that want conversions sent from a server to 10 ad networks, a delivery log per network, and attribution and a net profit report in every plan, priced by monthly orders per store from $19 a month, in US dollars before applicable taxes.
  • wetracked.io: stores that want one plan for several stores (up to 3, 5 or 10, or unlimited on Enterprise), nine ad channels plus Klaviyo, or support for checkout tools beyond Shopify’s own (pricing and integrations pages).

What WeProfit does and does not do

WeProfit builds each Shopify purchase from Shopify’s order webhook and sends it from its own server to the ad networks you connect, and each network’s delivery log shows the status of each event sent, with errors when a send fails. It adds attribution that works like last click with a 30-day ad-click lookback, with a confidence label on each order, and a net profit report: revenue minus refunds, taxes, product costs, payment fees, shipping, and ad spend.

Every plan includes all 10 ad networks, conversion tracking, profit tracking and attribution, the developer API and the AI assistant connection. Plans differ only by monthly orders per store.

What WeProfit does not do:

  • No free plan and no annual plan, and no published price above 7,500 orders a month: for more, contact support@weprofit.com for a custom plan.
  • No selectable multi-touch models, no split credit and no view-through credit: each order counts once, in one channel and at most one campaign.
  • No email or SMS destinations: WeProfit sends conversions to ad networks.
  • Not a full accounting system: profit covers order costs and ad spend, not rent, salaries, software subscriptions, income taxes or other overhead.
  • No spend at ad set or ad level: spend and profit after ads stop at campaign level.
  • Automated spend sync covers Meta, Google Ads, TikTok and Pinterest; for Snapchat, X Ads, Microsoft (pilot), Reddit, LinkedIn and Taboola, add spend by hand, as a daily schedule or through the developer API.
  • Microsoft delivery is a pilot that requires enablement, and Taboola forwarding depends on a captured Taboola click ID.
  • Orders placed before you installed WeProfit are never sent to ad networks.
  • No guarantee of complete attribution, a particular advertising return or matching totals across ad platforms.

How to test a switch with one known order during the 14-day trial

Whichever tool you use today, the same check works: follow one order you can identify from your store to the ad network, one checkpoint at a time. WeProfit sends to an ad network only after you connect that destination, so you can check orders, attribution and profit first and then move one network at a time.

Before you connect a destination, list every app, channel and theme script that already sends purchases to it. Two tools can submit the same purchase to the same destination, so keep one purchase sender per destination.

You approve a Shopify subscription to start WeProfit’s 14-day free trial; after the trial, Shopify bills the plan every 30 days until you uninstall WeProfit, and each shop gets one trial.

  1. Connect your Shopify store, approve the authorization and the subscription, then enable the WeProfit app embed in the theme editor and select Save.
  2. Visit your storefront and add an item to the cart. On the Installation page, select Refresh and check for Connected, Web pixel installed: Yes and App embed: Active, then run Verify your installation.
  3. Pick one ad network, decide which tool sends its purchases, then connect that destination in WeProfit.
  4. Place a permitted test purchase or wait for a real order you can identify, and record its order ID, paid status, time, currency and total in Shopify.
  5. Find the order in WeProfit, inspect its linked session and confidence label, and check that network’s delivery log for the event ID, delivery status and any error.
  6. In the ad network, check the conversion action, reporting date and attribution settings. A successful send does not mean the network will credit the order to an ad.

Side-by-side pages for each tool

Each page compares one tool with WeProfit in more detail: plans and prices, trial terms, store platforms, where each sends data, attribution, profit, and how to test a switch without double purchase events.

About this comparison
